UDANA HAS CLOSED. WE NO LONGER OFFER IN STUDIO CLASSES.

Please read below for details of our studio policies for both in-studio and online classes. These policies have been modified as of June 3, 2020 to reflect COVID-19 related updates for reopening our physical studio location. Participants will be asked to complete a new waiver before able to participate in class; this helps us confirm that participants are aware of and understand our current protocol. If any questions, please contact us atinfo@udanayogawellness.comor 414.215.0612.

IN-STUDIO CLASS POLICY:
Due to the protocol we now must have in place for COVID-19, we are making some changes to the in-studio experience and registration policy.

  • Classes held in the studio will not be livestreamed online via Zoom at this time. 
  • Registration cut-off is 24 hours before class start time (so, if a class is at 6:00 p.m. on a Monday, we ask that you register by 6:00 p.m. on Sunday). 
  • If you need to cancel a class for any reason, we must receive notice of cancellation 12 hours before class or we will charge the class fee or your class package/membership. This policy is in place to provide those who may be waitlisted for a class the opportunity to participate. You may email us at info@udanayogawellness.com or call/text 414.215.0612 to cancel your reservation.
  • To maintain social distancing, in-person classes will be capped at 6 participants. In order for an in-studio class to take place, we must have 2 registrations; if we are below this number, we will cancel class. Please understand this policy is out of respect of the teacher’s time and as well as considerations of our costs.
  • Some of Udana’s teachers are offering private, one-on-one yoga appointments both online and in-studio. If you are interested in this service, please contact us at info@udanayogawellness.com or 414.215.0612. All private appointments must go through Natascha, owner of Udana, for scheduling and tracking purposes. 
  • The drop-in rate for in-studio classes is $15, as it was before our COVID-19 closure.


SPECIFIC PROTOCOL & POLICIES IN ADHERENCE WITH COVID-19 GUIDELINES:
The following guidelines are all in place in response to COVID-19 and in adherence with local, statewide, national, and industry-related recommendations. 

  • All participants must complete a new electronic waiver before attending class. This waiver acknowledges understanding of our policies and protocol. If a waiver is not completed, you will not be permitted to register for or attend class.
  • Pre-registration for all classes is required, absolutely no drop-in appointments at this time. We will have to turn away drop-in participants.
  • We are limiting class size to 6 participants in order to maintain social distancing. We will continue to maintain this until the CDC and local health officials indicate otherwise and as we deem appropriate.
  • For classes that are longer than 60 minutes, we are temporarily reducing class length to 60 minutes unless otherwise indicated. 
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before class start time. There will be streamlined entry into the studio space. The teacher will open the doors and we ask that participants enter one at a time, maintaining a social distance of 6 feet.
  • You will be asked  screening questions upon entering the space. We have listed these screening questions below. These screening questions come at the guideline of the Oak Creek Health Department. 
    • If you, or someone you’ve been in contact with has experienced any of the following within the past 24 hours, we ask that you please return home and contact your doctor for further direction: Fever (100.4 F or higher), Shortness of breath, Cough, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell
    • Have you had close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 patient while that person was ill within the past 14 days?
    • If your answer to any of the above is “YES,” we ask that you please return home and contact your doctor. 
    • Please know that we take our responsibility to keep our customers and team safe very seriously. We are asking all guests to provide information regarding any potential symptoms of exposure to COVID-19 with this simple screening tool.
    • If you are ill at all, or have been in contact with someone who is ill, please do not come to the studio. If you are showing any signs of illness, you will be asked to leave. Udana Yoga reserves the right to ask anyone to leave who is not in compliance with our COVID-19 safety protocol. Thank you for your understanding. Again, these screening questions have been provided by the Oak Creek Health Department. 
  • Once you have completed the initial screening questions, the teacher will check you into class. 
  • We ask that you please wear a mask or other face covering when entering and leaving the studio space, and while in all shared indoor areas outside of the studio space. 
  • We ask that you do not congregate within the lobby area or vestibule before or after class.
  • When entering the space, please come into the studio, placing your shoes on the carpet inside the studio. Then, proceed to set up your mat at a designated space (you will see tape marking a spot). Please place your mat at one of the designated spots and settle in for class.
  • Please bring your belongings/valuables (except for shoes) with you to your mat and place them beside your mat. We ask that you do not use the regular storage area for any of your belongings. For this reason, we suggest minimizing the valuables/belongings you bring with you. 
  • Please bring your own yoga mat. You may also bring your own yoga props. If you are interested in purchasing any props, we are selling a limited amount of our existing props (which have all been cleaned) at a discounted rate.   • At this time, we will not have most of our props available for use; blocks will be available at the discretion of the teacher and will be cleaned after each class.
  • Upon setting up your mat, please continue to wear your face covering as you wait for class to start. We encourage you to connect and converse with fellow participants, while maintaining social distance within the space and remaining on your mat. 
  • Once class starts, you may remove your face covering only while on your mat practicing. We will not be engaging in heavier breathing practices in our classes, and encourage nose breathing.
  • No cash transactions at this time. Participants must pre-register/pre-pay for all classes online. If you are uncomfortable with paying online, you may call us at 414.215.0612 to arrange for payment over the phone. Please understand that this practice is in place to help the check-in process run quickly and smoothly, and is also in consideration of the extra time teachers are taking to clean the space before/after each class.
  • At this time, the kitchen area is for teachers only. This is to, again, minimize traffic areas. For that reason, our water station will not be available, so we encourage you to bring your own bottle of water to class. 
  • We will have cloths available as well as sanitary wipes to clean your mat. We also have hand sanitizer available. 
  • Once all participants are within the space, doors will be locked during class. 
  • Classes will start on time, and we will not keep doors unlocked past class start time. Please ensure you are on time. 
  • When class ends, please gather your belongings and exit the space. 
  • We understand the value and importance of connecting in community, and we ask that after class you please carry on any conversations with fellow participants outside of the building
  • Please be respectful of the teacher’s time and understand that they are not available for socializing after class in order to limit contact time and to also allow them to focus on the additional cleaning protocol in place. 
  • You may use the restroom facilities at your own discretion. Please understand that Udana is not responsible for cleaning or stocking the restroom space or other areas outside of our studio space, so therefore cannot confirm or attest to the cleaning schedule for those spaces.
  • We will be steam mopping the floors and wiping down touch points to sanitize the studio space after every class.
  • The protocol we have in place are in-step with recommendations of our local health department, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp, the CDC, as well as guidelines and best practices recommended for the yoga studio industry. 


We at Udana are committed to providing a comfortable space for all. We ask that you help us with this by observing our protocol and respecting the health and safety of all those who enter our space. We understand that the in-studio experience will be different and this may feel like a big change, but please know this is all in the best interest and consideration of the health of our community. Our team is committed to creating the same welcoming, inclusive environment that we have always provided.


ONLINE CLASS POLICY:

  • Registration cut-off will now be 2 hours before class start time; you must notify in your registration notes or by contacting the studio via email (info@udanayogawellness.com) or 414.215.0612 if you do not plan to attend live and just want the class recording.
  • If you must cancel your registration for an online class, you must provide 4 hours notice. If you wish to instead receive a recording vs participating live, we are happy to provide the recording to you. 
  • The reason we are asking for more notice is out of respect for the teacher’s time; we need to know ahead of time if participants will not be attending live so that we can plan accordingly. 
  • If a class has less than 3 participants, it will be cancelled. If the studio cancels an online class, participants will be given the option to receive a recording of a previous class. If the participant chooses to receive a recorded class, they will still be charged the class rate or have a class deducted from their package/membership; if the participant does not wish to receive a recording, they will not be charged.
  • Class cancellations by the participant will not be refunded if cancellation notice is received with 4 hours or less notice; participants who sign up and "no show" for the live online class will still receive the class recording. Again, please notify us ahead of time if you plan to receive the recording so we may plan accordingly.
  • The class recording will be accessible for viewing for 72 hours; the recording is only sent to those participants who requested the recording ahead of time or agree to receive a recording if class is cancelled by the studio. 
  • Our drop-in rate for online classes will continue to be at the discounted rate of $10, unless otherwise noted. Class packages and memberships can still be used for online classes, unless otherwise noted.


​​NO SHOW AND CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY

Regular Group Classes

In the event you must cancel your participation in a regular yoga class reservation or wellness appointment, you must notify Udana Yoga and Wellness either by email or phone (info@udanayogawellness.com or 414-215-0612) at least 12 hours prior to your appointment for in-studio offerings and 4 hours prior to your appointment with online offerings. All "no show" appointments will be charged the full amount of the class/service on the card used to reserve the class; or, for class packages holders or members, the class will be deducted from your package or membership for any "no show" appointment. No exceptions. Our instructors wait to start class after all pre-registered attendees arrive, and close the doors on time. We understand things come up, and greatly appreciate the courtesy of an email or phone call if your plans change.


Workshops or Special Classes

We require 24 hour notice if cancelling your reservation for a special workshop or event; the participant may be eligible for a full or partial refund depending on the requirements of the workshop presenter. No shows will be charged the event price. 


Studio Cancellation of a Class, Workshop, Appointment, or Event

Classes, workshops, events and other wellness appointments could be occasionally canceled by the studio if there's insufficient interest, teacher/practitioner emergency or weather-related studio closures (hey, we are in Wisconsin!). If your event is cancelled, you will be notified as soon as possible and you will receive a full refund or full credit. Udana's Facebook page will also announce any cancellations.


CLASS PACKAGE POLICY (5 packs, 10 packs, 20 packs, Monthly Unlimited, Annual Unlimited)

Memberships and packages may be used for regular drop-in classes and select series classes. You may use your class package for any of our regularly scheduled group classes; our policy does not require you to use your package toward any one class, giving you the freedom to explore the variety of classes offered at Udana. To view our package options, visit the "Series" page of our online booking system.


Packages cannot be used for workshops or other special events, unless otherwise specified. Class packages are non-refundable, but are transferrable (e.g. you move away and still have 3 classes left in your 5-pack, you can gift the remaining classes to a friend). Class packages can be shared with a guest if the package holder is also present in the class.  Udana's 5-packs and 10-packs expire 182 days from date of purchase, 20-packs expire 365 days from date of purchase, Monthly Unlimited expires 30 days from date of purchase, Annual Unlimited expires 365 days from date of purchase. Our 5, 10, and 20 pack options may be eligible for extension, based on management discretion; the package holder must contact management before the class package expires in order for this to be possible. We cannot extend packages that have expired. If you are seeking an extension on your 5, 10-, or 20-pack, email info@udanayogawellness.com.


Beginning June 3, 2020, no new class packages or New to Udana specials will be issued. We will have an Unlimited 30 Day pass for $60 (valid for online and in-studio regular classes, activates on date of purchase, and expires 30 days from purchase); we will also continue our Essential Membership, which includes 5 in-studio or online classes a month for $39 (membership does auto-renew each month unless cancelled).

REFUND POLICY

Refunds are not given for classes or services taken, whether partial or full. Class packages are also non-refundable. If a participant partially uses a class package, they will not be refunded or credited for unused classes in the package. No exceptions.
